Goal: Students will learn how to use the verb to be and how to describe people
Target Grammar: Verb to be (present/past tense)
Target Vocabulary: Description: Physical appearance/ character
The following tasks are addressed to A2 students. Throughout these activities they will learn how to use the verb to be, both in the present tense and in the past.Once they get familiarized with the verb to be they will get some useful vocabulary to write a description. They will learn how to describe a person and talk about both physical appearance and character. Then, they will complete a worksheet using the verb to be and they will have to describe their favourite primary teacher! Thus, they will get a great opportunity to use both the verb to be and the new vocabulary as well. Finally, students will play "who is who" to review the new vocabulary.
